Let's go Shopping: Mokuba

[ENG] The other day I went (again) to the shop I want to talk about today, Mokuba, a shop where you can find any ribbon you are thinking of...and it's great because I had a vague idea about what I was looking for but not a clear one, so I had the chance to spend a little while there trying to find the good one.
At the end I bought a turquoise cotton ribbon that I used to sew my fabulous vintage bag. I'm super happy with the result.
Anyway, the thing is that we have this shop in town and if you need a ribbon, you definitely must go there.

Super guai.
Però "benu" només cinc centimets del lloc perquè si sou a Barcelona no us la deixeu escapar si mai necessiteu una cinta. Allà la trobareu segur!

I per mostra...un botó! Vull dir...una cinta!

Let's go Shopping: Fabric Worm

[ENG] Yes, I am planning on doing some more sewing and a little less crocheting though it's quite difficult right now because I'm just in the middle of my african hexagons granny and I won't start a new project until I finish this one, which is driving me quite mad...a blanket...never again (I think).
The thing is that some friends of mine have babies and I always think on sewing them something nice to wear, and now I've found the right place to buy the fabric, at Fabric Worm, a wonderful shop settled in California who sell on the Internet aswell; lucky us.
They also have some free sewing patterns and also some to buy.
You can also follow their blog and sign up for the weekly giveaways.

Let's go shopping...Lycka

Lycka Store
[ENG] Lucky us that internet exists, because otherwise it would be harder to shop anything from this wonderful shop (unless you live in Granada), and this shop is Lycka and it started as and idea a year ago (well, not until tomorrow to be precise). After a while (not long ago) they decided to open the online store so i couldn't be happier.

They sell t-shirts, prints, bags, kids things, matrioskas...I love it. Some of their brands and artists are Pintachan, Sagaform, 3 Sprouts,  Little Elephant, Ingela P. Arrhenius or Beatrix.
Next time I go and visit Granada, I won't miss it! But meanwhile I'll use the internet.

Let's go Shopping: Mans i Mànigues

[ENG] There is a new shop i town...which town? Solsona! It's called Mans i Mànigues and is the cutest shop I've seen in a long period...
If you live there or nearby and you love handmade things or you just want to practice with your hobby, just go there and visit those two wonderful ladies that have started this nice project. It's the place where you can by all the materials you need and also learn how to knit, crochet, sew and spend a lovely time.
Will you miss it?
Doncs a Solsona!
Us ho perdreu?

Let's go Shopping: Loisaida

[ENG] Today I'd like to talk about Loisaida a shop found in Barcelona. Loisaida (standing for Lower East Side) occupies part of the dependences of the former factory of the currency of Barcelona in Born neighbourhood.
A nice shop with vintage furniture and clothes and also with the newest clothes...a wonderful shop where you  can get lost for a long time because is filled with details you don't really want to miss. I just go there to wonder around and fill my eyes with those antique things...
Don't miss it.

Let's go Shopping: The Purl Bee

[ENG] I'm not as lucky as my friend Merche to say that I've been to the Purl Bee shop but I can tell you it's amazing, included the blog with those nice pictures and nice projects  and the on-line shop. There is one think that I really like and it's the fact that you can specify a colour and see everything that you can find in the shop in that colour. It's so cool.
It is located in NYC since 2002 and the reason to open it was to sell yarn and nice things aswell as to share nice hints and tips about knitting and the craft world. Open to creativity and good taste for sure.
I love it!
M'encanta!

Let's go Shopping: Shiro-Hige's Cream Puff Factory

[ENG] I don't know why but I'm really attracted to Japan...me and thousands of other people aswell. Is one of the places I'd like to visit with time and patience but before I'll have to save some money. Fair enough. One thing I'm gonna visit for sure is the Ghibli Museum dedicated to those wonderful movies and matter of my last crochet projects.
But not only this, Japan is special because there's a bakery inspired in one of the most famous characters at  Studio Ghibli, Totoro, my beloved one. So I'm gonna go there aswell, at  Shiro Hige Cream Puff Factory to try the cream puff on the shape of Totoro.
Beautiful ! / Preciosos!

Let's go Shopping: Yozocraft

[ENG] Usually I prefer to show you stores where you can physically go to thrill with everything cause normally they are really cute but in the 2.0 era we are in, you can find everything on internet, including stores as nice as Yozocraft where you can buy things to sew (fabric, scissors ..), Kawaii stationery (my godnees if it existed at the time I did exchange in school ... by the way I need to find out where my old collection is!) and beautiful material for home ...
Take your time to visit the shop, there are many things to see ... Worthwhile.

Let's go Shopping: Nunoya

[ENG] Few people in this exact moment probably doesn't know Nunoya but now that I was thinking about it it's a really nice shop to talk about, a place to remember. It's a shop specialised in Japanese fabrics,  kimono, clothing and fashion accessories. It is placed in a tiny street in Barcelona center (near the cathedral) and going there is to "sin" because everything is so nice...Fabrics and accessories are amazing!
You can find it in carrer de la palla nº6 in Barcelona.
[CAT] Poca gent que llegeixi aquestes línees dèu desconèixer  Nunoya però ara hi he caigut i és un lloc on val la pena anar i recordar.
